Gojinjo Taiko is a local performing art that has been handed down in Nafune-cho, Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture. In 1577 (Tensho 5), when Uesugi Kenshin's army invaded Nafune, it is said that the demons and ghosts were attacked by a surprise attack with seaweed hair on their masks and beating drums, driving away the Uesugi army. This has been handed down as a festival event "Gojinjo Taiko" to this day, and it is designated as an intangible folk cultural property designated by the prefecture. Every year from the end of April to the beginning of October, a free performance of Gojinjo Taiko drums is held at the Wajima Kiriko Kaikan Motenashi Square.
It is a painting of a Japanese traditional performance, and it seems to be a valuable piece.
